About Catholic Family News

Holy Family by Claudio Coello (1642–1693)

Founded in 1994, Catholic Family News is a monthly journal and online media apostolate dedicated to promoting the Catholic Faith of all time, “in the same meaning and the same explanation” (Vatican I) as Catholic doctrine has always been taught throughout the ages. As such, Catholic Family News is dedicated to upholding the Traditional Latin Mass, the Anti-Modernist measures of Pope St. Pius X, the Message of Our Lady of Fatima, the Social Kingship of Christ, and the richness, beauty, and holiness of “the faith once delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).

CFN strives to provide Catholics trying to keep the Faith in these challenging times with the information necessary not only to promote and defend the Faith themselves, but also to encourage others to pursue the narrow and straight path that leads to life (cf. Matt. 7:14). CFN content answers vital questions and reveals harmful agendas, information that will not be found elsewhere in one package. Through all of our work, our goal remains to keep Catholics informed on what’s really going on in the Church and the world, and more importantly, to provide a thoroughly Catholic response to current events rooted in the Deposit of Faith (Scripture and Tradition), the teachings of the Magisterium, and the wisdom of the Saints.

As a Catholic communications apostolate, CFN strives to report relevant news and provide unique commentary in light of the truths of the Faith and the traditions of the Church, utilizing both print and electronic media to reach as many souls as possible. In addition to news and commentary, CFN strives to provide hearty spiritual sustenance to individuals and families through traditional catechesis, liturgical formation, the lives of the Saints, and the Church’s classical resources on the spiritual life.

We are Catholic Family News. “Fight the good fight of faith!” — 1 Timothy 6:12
