Dear Friends of Catholic Tradition,

What an incredible year we have just seen come to a close. Who would have guessed on this date last year that we would see all of the following occur:

• A government shutdown that delayed the State of the Union address and a Presidential Impeachment trial;
• Archbishop Viganò call for Vatican II to be forgotten;
• The world go into lockdown, with most people confined to their homes with schools and businesses closed;
• Catholic churches around the world close their doors and priests refuse to give the sacraments;
• Violent riots in cities across the country that were met by politicians supporting them as “peaceful protests”;
• Massive election fraud that would be part of a coup to prevent President Trump from winning a second term, which evidence indicates he won by a landslide.

It certainly was a year for the history books. Yet, through all these surprises and turmoil, Catholic Family News has worked hard to sort through the drama and bring you the facts, while offering a Catholic perspective on it all. Over the past year, we have welcomed new subscribers to the papers and seen a four-fold increase in subscribers to our YouTube channel. We’ve built a strong relationship with Archbishop Viganò so that he often sends his writings for publication on our website and in our paper. We have also launched podcast versions of our video content. Although we were unable to hold a conference due to the deep state shutdown of travel and in-person events, we worked to bring you even more video content through special reports and interviews.

We hope our work this past year not only informed you but brought you peace of soul. We try to discuss all these events in light of our steadfast faith and firm hope in the power of Almighty God. Ultimately, He remains in charge of His Church and King of all nations through all these twists and turns. If we have endured suffering or loneliness due to the events of this year, we know it was because He willed it for our sanctification.

What will the next year hold? I will not make any predictions, other than calmly remembering that whatever it is will be the will of God for us at this precise moment in history. We will make resolutions. We at CFN are resolved to continue bringing the truth of Catholic Tradition to as many souls as possible through print, internet, video, and audio. We are grateful for your support of our work to spread the Truth.

We experienced innumerable difficulties due to the shutdowns. We could not obtain our mail for months. Our office was closed for over four months. Our papers were trapped in Canada for several months and could not be mailed. We apologize to every one of our subscribers who were affected by these events. We have slowly begun to dig out from the havoc caused by this situation. If you’ve experienced problems, please do not give up on us.
