Catholic Family News Launches New Podcast Series on the Mass

Catholic Family News is happy to announce a new podcast series on the Mass. This multi-part series will systematically discuss the Mass from beginning to end. The series will examine the beauty, symbolism, and history of the prayers and gestures of the Mass. Each episode will also compare in what respects the Traditional Latin Mass and Novus Ordo Mass differ.

Part 1 provides an overview of the series and introduces the general themes of the ceremonies of the Traditional Mass and Novus Ordo. It also discusses the symbolism of the liturgical vestments and vesting prayers as well as the general preparation for Mass.

Mr. McCall became Editor-in-Chief of Catholic Family News in 2018. He is the author of numerous books and articles on law, politics, and Catholic Social Teaching and has made frequent speaking appearances at academic and Catholic conferences on these topics. He and his wife are the parents of six children.
