Murray RundusI was very pleased to have Phillip Campbell on the show to discuss the so-called ‘Mayan Rite’. I believe this was a very important episode, and is currently the most in-depth examination of the Mayan Rite, the precedents for and against it, and the facts involved.
Our Editor-In-Chief, Brian McCall, had covered this as it first came out, garnering tens of thousands of views between our Instagram, TikTok and Facebook ‘short’ platforms. There were a number of what we might call ‘Popesplainer’ defenses of this Mayan Rite that had captured the attention of many people, causing them to call our coverage ‘misinformation’, ‘hypocritical’ or all of the ‘isms’ that traditional Catholics are so used to hearing. I wanted to have Phillip on as he produced an excellent dismantling of these sophist defenses on his blog Unam Sanctam Catholicam.
