Dr. Robert Hickson RIP

All of us at Catholic Family News are saddened by the loss of Dr. Robert David Hickson, Jr., who departed this world on September 2. Dr. Hickson was an outstanding scholar and teacher and a great supporter of the Catholic faith and liturgy of all ages. He and his wife, CFN contributor Dr. Maike Hickson, have ten children and currently 27 grandchildren. He died a holy death having been fortified by the Last Sacraments and traditional prayers of the Church. The Requiem Mass and Burial of Dr. Robert Hickson will be Saturday, September 9th at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary (1208 Archbishop Lefebvre Avenue Dillwyn, VA 23936). The Mass will be livestreamed from the seminary.

The visitation will take place Friday, September 8, from 5-7 p.m. at Enders and Shirley Funeral Home (1050 West Main Street, Berryville, VA 22611). A Rosary will be prayed there at 6 p.m.

Flowers are welcome and if a donation is preferred, a memorial donation may be given to St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary (https://stas.org/en/donations).
