CFN Contributor Christopher Ferrara Wins Temporary Injunction Against New York State Vaccine Mandate

Christopher Ferrara, longtime CFN contributor and attorney for the Thomas More Society, struck a sharp blow at the totalitarian mandate of the Soviet Socialist Republic (formerly U.S. State) of New York. The Department of Health had mandated that all healthcare workers receive one of the available gene serums called vaccines relating to COVID-19. Like all totalitarian dictators of the 20th century, the state formerly headed by disgraced Andrew Cuomo forbade the granting of any religious exemptions whatsoever to the dictate. The enemies of religion would brook no compromise. Comply or lose your livelihood, regardless of any sincerely held religious belief.

Ferrara filed suit on behalf of an anonymous group of 17 doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers. Within hours of filing the lawsuit, Judge David N. Hurd of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York granted a temporary restraining order that prohibits New York from enforcing their mandate to the extent it requires employers of healthcare workers to “deny” or “revoke” previously granted religious exemptions (see here for the official press release).

The order is only temporary and the New York “politburo” has until September 22 to argue why the injunction should not continue in effect. Although only an early victory, the swiftness of Judge Hurd’s action suggests there is a strong case made that the New York mandate cannot stand as written.

Congratulations to Chris for a stunning early victory in his crusade to protect Catholics, and others of good will, from being forced to receive these experimental substances derived in one way or another from the death of children in abortion.
