As I said in the video, I think the narrative that Iran is a suicidal death cult has been destroyed. They showed restraint and showed that they are acting on the part of their own country’s interests. This doesn’t mean it aligns with the interests of America, or that they are justified, but I do not buy the propaganda that they don’t have the use of reason simply because they do not like the USA or Israel.

Sibelius Symphony No 5 and Finlandia conducted by Herbert von Karajan with the Philhamonia
(For the Audiophiles) try to get this record on EMI or Warner, not Angel. The American pressing plants were vastly inferior.

Karajan was a contender for the best conductor of the 20th century, and one of his hidden strengths was Sibelius. Sibelius has a way with environmental music, it can almost sound ambient at times. Finlandia is more exciting than the other Symphonies I find. Much more melodic. Sibelius can be an acquired taste, but one worth developing.

Some important appointments. The big ones will come 2-4 years from now, but we could even see Cardinal Roche replaced at Divine Worship sooner than that. I think Cardinal Fernandez will stay for a while, but I wouldn’t read too much into that, just as we couldn’t read too much into Mueller staying with Pope Francis
