INTERVIEW: Matt Gaspers on The Catholic Current

Earlier this week, CFN managing editor Matt Gaspers was interviewed on The Catholic Current, a radio program produced by The Station of the Cross (see below for full audio).

Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., host of the show, and Mr. Gaspers discussed the German Synodal Path and where it is leading, as well as Eric Sammons’ new book Deadly Indifference: How the Church Lost Her Mission, and How We Can Reclaim It (Sophia Institute Press, 2021). Readers will recall that CFN editor-in-chief Brian McCall interviewed Mr. Sammons last week about his book.

Fr. McTeigue and Mr. Gaspers also touched on the debate within the USCCB regarding the denial of Holy Communion from dissident Catholics (per can. 915 of the Code of Canon Law), particularly those who are public figures.
