Brian McCall speaks with Crisis Magazine‘s Editor-in-Chief Eric Sammons about his research into the insidious infiltration of religious indifferentism into the post-Counciliar Church. In his recently released new book Deadly Indifference: How the Church Lost Her Mission, and How We Can Reclaim It (Sophia Institute Press, 2021), Sammons warns that it is not only outright heresy that has destroyed the Church’s missionary zeal. Perhaps even more deadly is the practical religious indifferentism that can technically avoid the charge of heresy and that has been promoted by all the post-Conciliar popes, not merely Pope Francis.
