Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery is located in the mountains bordering the Gila National Forest in southwest New Mexico. Construction of the monastery began in 1991 and has rarely ceased, due to the seemingly-endless stream of vocations that are attracted to the Benedictine life.
In order to support this expansion, and through the Rule of St. Benedict which calls the men to a life of prayer and work (Ora et Labora), the Brothers source, roast, and sell coffee of exceptional quality; 100% Gourmet Arabica Coffee carefully roasted in small batches in order to bring out their unique qualities. Their prized, direct trade Brazilian gourmet coffee is harvested from a small family-owned plantation located in the mountains of Nova Friburgo, Brazil, and was awarded first prize in the Rio de Janeiro Specialty Coffee Competition for quality. They are the exclusive importers to the United States of this acclaimed coffee.
